Jump back over to that plane and you should be okay for that wave. My suggestion for how to navigate is stay near the bottom until enemies begin to move towards you, then move North a bit until you see the mine below you passing by. As each wave has nearly ended, there will be one more mine that appears slightly north of the middle of the tunnel. There will be just one mine near the bottom of the stage it appears most of the way through the bottom of each wave. One: the mines spawn in pretty much (exactly?) the same pattern every time. Luckily, there are two things to know about this level. This one's harder than it seems: enemies tend to spawn right as new waves of mines appear, and getting hit by anything (ESPECIALLY the flying baddies, as they tend to knock you down) will probably leave you stunned long enough that you'll pass over a trap before you regain control of your Turtle. Don't get hit by any of the red bobbing spikes in Level 3, Sewer Surfin'.
